When I'm not behind the camera you can usually find me on my road bike trying to squeeze in an extra 10 miles or on a mini road trip to a hiking trail or some place that sells vintage industrial items. I teach fine art students at PrattMWP the understanding and operation of studio lighting in photography through student-facilitated learning.

I plan out photo assignments, work with reporters and paginators in deciding the best photos for print publication, manage the photography department and equipment budget, coach and work with the photographers in producing the best possible photos on assignment, work as a creative member of the editorial team, and cover breaking news, general news, sports and features assignments in photos and video.
