With the NKSO, I serve in the Civil Process Unit of the Sheriff's Office. We handle all civil matters, court security, transportation of prisioners locally as well as around the state and out of state when the situation arises. I now serve as the Head Bailiff in the Circuit Court, conduct back ground investigations, head up the Crisis Negotiations Team, investigate gun permits and instruct when needed. Being dual certified I also respond to calls for service and enforce all laws.

Served in many positions over the years while with the Division. My first love while at Henrico was Uniform Patrol. During my time with the Division I was assigned to Uniform Patrol, SAF, Fleet Operations, School Resource, Community Maintenance and was the Divisions second Community Officer. During my time with the Division, I was a Crisis Negotiator for 25 years ending tenure as the Team Leader. I also taught Officer Survival for over 20 years not only in the Henrico Academy, but to many local agencies as well.
