• Reporting to the Director MRH90 Sustainment Program, the Director of MRH90 Deeper Maintenance was responsible for the operational management of the MRH90 Fleet Deeper Maintenance requirements and a member of the AAP Senior Leadership team.• Delivered all aspects of the deeper maintenance capability required to support the MRH Fleet, including effective and efficient management of maintenance capacity and delivery of maintenance support services. This included support to the end-customer at operational sites (Townsville, Nowra, and Holsworthy) for solving complex maintenance issues or facilitating recovery of aircraft from lengthy periods of unserviceability through close liaison with unit, Brigade and FORCOMD/FAA staff.• Responsible for the management and coordination of the RNZAF Ohakea On-Site Team providing maintenance personnel support to the RNZAF NH90 Deeper Maintenance function.• Responsible for fostering and developing maintenance expertise on the MRH aircraft so as to be able to deliver support as required to operational units in the resolution of complex maintenance problems, including through the management of an organic maintenance training capability which removes any dependence on the customer‘s maintenance training capacity.• Provide assessments of resource requirements for the effective functioning of the MRH Deeper Maintenance team to the Director of the MRH90 Sustainment Program in support of the Cost Centre budget preparation, management, and Cost @ Completion update and management processes.

Reporting to the Director MRH90 Operations, the Manager Brisbane Operations was responsible for the operational management of the Brisbane MRH90 Maintenance facility, which introduced aircraft into service directly from the Airbus Final Assembly and Retrofit Line and eventually transformed into the MRH90 Deeper Maintenance facility.• Managed the delivery of the operational elements of In-Service Support (Maintenance, Storage and Distribution, and Engineering Support) at the Brisbane Airport facilities. The team was principally responsible for the successful delivery of the Deeper Maintenance (DM) function for the MRH90 fleet.• Responsible for all Operational support to the MRH90 acquisition program including all aircraft deliveries and major modification activities on previously delivered MRH90 aircraft.• Represent Director MRH Operations at support forums to plan for the provision of operational and in-service support.• Report and communicate priorities, needs, performance and future direction with the customer.• Provide assessments of resource requirements for the effective functioning of the Brisbane Operations team in support of budget preparation, management and Cost Completion processes.• Participate in fleet operational planning, including fleet management contractual variations on the resourcing requirements of Brisbane Operations.

Was responsible to establish the maintenance facility and deliver serviceable MRH90 aircraft in support of all MRH90 training requirements at the Army Aviation Training Centre.
