During this short term contract I was brought in by the company owner to help reorganise both the client facing elements and the operational side of the business. This was completed successfully in 8 months at which point I moved to my current position. During my time back at Verve I was responsible with all of the client base to ensure that during the changes they were managed correctly as well as the rest of the organisation as general manager.

Highlights for this period was the winning and running of the British Airways Terminal 5 lounge and office furniture contract that was worth £5.5 million and took 3 years to complete. I have also been Head of the National Project Team and Technical Manager both of which involve running a team of professional colleagues to deliver successful project. During this short term contract I was trained to operate as a production pyrotechnician. This involved the rigging and preparation of pyrotechnics for stage shows and events. I was one of only 4 people to be able to fire pyrotechnics in the Savoy Hotel and the Albert Hall in London. This involved building on existing experience to safely fire pyrotechnics and effects for events and shows.

Duties included management of the lighting department including supervision and maintenance of equipment, co-ordination of casual and permanent staff, department budgets and wages, lighting design, rigging, focusing and operation for a variety of performances. During the time in this role I was responsible for the hire stock of this Stage Lighting Hire Company. This involved dealing with all client requests and ensuring that all equipment was available and in working order. This role had very short turnaround times sometimes measured in hours. I was also one of the production lighting and sound staff for events and was a production manager for large events at the age of 20. I worked part time in this role while finishing my degree
