I am currently Director of Finance at Maples Teesdale LLP, a boutique commercial law firm based in the City of London, having joined the firm as Office Manager in May 2012. I work closely with the firm’s Managing and Finance Partners to ensure the smooth running of Maples Teesdale as a business.I deal with all facets of running a busy solicitors office, with a particular emphasis on compliance, forecasting, modelling and reporting, facilities, accounting and overseeing the work of the firm’s Accounts Department. My job involves high levels of communication with partners, the firm’s bankers, accountants, insurers, external suppliers and with our landlord’s managing agents. I have 30 years experience in the legal field, with 25 of those having been spent at ‘the buck stops here’ level.
