Although it's not listed, I'm an ex Ford Motor Company assembler who happened to stumble upon HVAC after Ford closed the assembly plant in Norfolk, Virginia. I worked for a small HVAC company in Virginia Beach for five years. During my tenure there, I never really understood why the owner made a commotion over my "numbers". The sales manager also made a point to call me on a weekly basis. Obviously I wasn't ignorant to the cause of these things for the entire 5 years which led me to believe there may be something more out there for me. That search didn't take too long before I ended up with a company who changed my entire perception in a positive way. At this company, the rewards and seemingly sincere appreciation fed my desire to do even better. The constant offers of training were welcomed and things began to even blossom even more. This company is regional which led to a location change and even more opportunities. I'm, to this day, very thankful for the time they allowed me to serve for them. They helped me to become a 2 million dollars a year producer. Since then I've worked for a couple of company's who are not looking to grow. I've decided that just isn't for me. I thrive in an environment that's "alive" and on the cutting edge of the industry. There is nothing like working for a company that breathes as a "whole" and where teamwork is crucial and an owner who will except nothing less. Is there another company out there like this?
