Mark R. Easterday, CRPC™ is First Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and has been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since May 1997. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business-Finance, he is Past-Chairman of the Alumni Association for the USC Marshall School of Business. A former Trojan golfer, Mark maintains his love for golf and fitness. In his youth, he served the U.S. House of Representatives as a Page. Mark spent many years coaching and supporting his sons, Ryan and Aaron, as they played football, baseball, lacrosse, swimming and marching band. Mark has a passion for the US Military, specifically the Navy. Mark has worked closely with Navy SEALS and local veterans' groups to give children up close exposure to local heroes. Mark's other hobby was being the lead singer in his country music band for 15 years. Now that Ryan and Aaron are off to college, Mark and his wife, Cherice are re-locating to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, with their horses, dogs, a cat, and a turtle. They love rodeo and spend their spare time learning to team-rope and barrel race. They are also active at their Christian church in Coeur D'Alene. Mark's focus is retirement planning. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ designation through the College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp. Mark helps clients harvest their years of hard work, savings, and incentives to provide for themselves and a family legacy. He addresses concerns like college planning, retirement planning, estate issues, and insurance. One of Mark's areas of focus is working with clients who have irregular income: contract workers, real estate investors, commission salespeople, entertainers, etc. He works closely to help them budget, save, and invest to smooth out their road to financial independence. He also helps clients manage large liquidity events like the sale of a business, an inheritance, or the handling of concentrated stock. All of these pieces are taken into careful consideration before any recommendations are made. Mark works with clients in many states across the country.
