Various Temp work after travelling around Australia. From labouring to working in a warehouse, during COVID-19 Lockdown.

Full time Duty Manager which involved running the club operationally on a day to day basis, managing a team consisting of lifeguards, receptionists and fitness instructors and ensuring that they are happy and working hard. I was a line manager to a few lifeguards who I’d regularly check up on with meetings and training, also manage their annual leave etc. Other responsibilities will include; swimming pool tests, legionella prevention (flushing, temp checks etc) regular team meetings, invoicing, budget handling and making sure members are happy. A big part of my job was dealing with customer queries or complaints in person and over the phone, I take pride in helping others and making sure that they are happy.I was head of Fire Safety at the club so I was responsible for making sure the alarms, extinguishers and emergency lighting are maintained and making sure all staff know the correct procedure put in place, also booking in relevant services annually. I was also in charge of carrying out risk assessments for the club which can range from the swimming pool area to the car park. All of these responsibilities I’d report to my line manager weekly to show progress and new targets.Left to go traveling in Australia.

Full time Fitness instructor/Rec Assistant, doing Duty Manager tasks such as opening and closing the centre on my own. I did regular fitness instructor duties such as provide inductions and fitness programmes for new and existing members, cleaning the gym, hallways, changing rooms, kitchen and meeting rooms daily and looking after the centre on my own with set ups for classes and bookings such as meetings/presentations and events. I ran 3 classes a week at the centre (Walking Football, Circuits and also Activities and games for people with dementia). I love to provide excellent customer service and working with a team and building a nice relationship with my colleagues.Towards the end of my time at the leisure centre I was moved into more of a sale role, when customers wanted to sign up/look around it was my role to make sure they were happy and to get the sale, which I loved.

Started work at The Holbrook Club Gym in Horsham as a Fitness Instructor my main responsibilities were to provide excellent customer service to gym users and help them with advice and rehabilitation. Induct new members into the gym and show them how to use the gym correctly and also clean the gym and studios daily, also to help with day to day tasks at the club such a setting up the main hall for events and classes.Offered a Personal Training position and extra fitness instructing hours in 2014, still working with the club, gym team and clients to date (2016). Also started to work on the bar, to gain extra experience.
