Successfully architected and migrated globally workstation endpoints from a legacy security stack to a modern cloud-based solution. This included moving operating systems and support infrastructure both on and off the GSK network. My endpoint role includes workstations, servers and mobile.The design solution covered legacy operating systems, air gapped solutions, bastion ad forests and manufacturing / OT environments behind special function networks whilst complying to the Purdue model.

Successfully defended and responded to the major global Cyber threats that happened in this period, specifically WannaCry and not-Petya.Delivered numerous process improvements from a performance, security and business process point of view.

During my time in the HR space I have further extended my existing network with a global network of business and IT contacts working across the business at all levels and dealing with and developing processes to work with very sensitive data.This is a very diverse role I’ve cherry picked a few highlights. I walk a line between the business and IT however because of my background I can significantly contribute to both. I shape both IT and business process.Removal of legacy HR Hub and backboneI lead this intuitive and created a small team that worked with the business (mainly NA Phama and R&D) to move ~77 interfaces off the legacy HR Hub and backbone onto the new ODS (Operational data store) Coordinated with the Workday rollout for the relevant regions, ~2 million piece of work and very time critical with sensitive data being moved. As part of this I worked with HR compliance and changes completely how the business connects and accesses HR data locking it down and putting proper governance in place that allowed GSK for the first time to easily see exactly who was accessing what data in this environment.UK CERPS Rollout and Payroll JournalingI picked this as the business process owner was on long term sick and the HR IT owner had move onto the core transformation programme.I had no prior knowledge of Payroll or Journaling and it was very challenging getting up to speed, I achieved this mainly working with the vendor and had them map out the flow from the existing code and worked the business process back from that. This ended up being quite a hands on engagement I had to map and coordinate the changing of all UK worker cost centres to the new CERPS entity whilst getting the vendor to create a COBOL solution on their mainframe and all the testing involved. In addition I also oversaw the commissioning of the interface from ODS to CERPS for new workers.
