Lead a team of engineers and business analysts, focusing on building, maintaining and enhancing our healthcare analytics data warehouse. Drive architectural direction related to the analytics warehouse and the broader enterprise data environment. Work closely with Analytics and Technology leadership in decision-making related to the company's technical landscape, data governance and management, and organizational structure. Own and lead large-scale projects related to building and maintaining the data warehouse environment.

Manage a team of analysts to design and populate a data environment supporting clinical and financial analytics in conjunction with the Technology department. Successfully integrated payer data with EMR data, both in storage and within analytical outputs. Participate in the Analytics department leadership team, making recommendations on resource hiring, performing cost-benefit analyses regarding the need for new resources, and making software stack recommendations based on functionality and cost. Attend weekly meetings with the Chief Analytics Officer where we discuss department and overall company changes, providing input as appropriate.Act as a company-wide subject matter expert on payer claims and membership data. Consult on most Analytics team projects that involve the use of claims and membership data to guide sourcing as well as methodology. Mentor junior analysts regarding the use of payer data and payer processes.Implement multiple analytic support processes including person matching, risk scoring, provider attribution and dropped and suspect HCC code identification. Create uniform processes across that use data from all markets and sources with the ultimate goal of turning over to the Technology team for automation.

Function as business execution lead for large scale data infrastructure projects by understanding, conveying and ensuring that requirements given by the Analytics team are met and that the end product of the projects will fulfill analytic needs. Act as a liaison between Analytics and IT organizations by guiding Analytics in the design of their requirements and by working with IT to confirm understanding of the requirements. Act as the primary process execution representative to business customers for the Enhanced Personal Healthcare Hot Spotter reports produced by the Analytics organization. Work closely with the program design owner to understand program intent and execute processes to deliver analytical results to realize the goals of the program. Consult directly with internal business customers to assure that program execution reporting is meeting their needs and answering their questions; make recommendations on alternative metrics that could be used to demonstrate progress towards the goals of the program.Serve as subject matter expert for the Member Management Analytics organization on enterprise data sources. Regularly make recommendations to team members on the best sources of data for specific analyses and the best ways to access that data. Advise team members on potential data issues and highlight alternative approaches to the analytical process to maximize the value of results while ensuring integrity of the data and methods used. Operate in a team lead capacity during the implementation of Impact Pro risk scoring software on the enterprise platform. Provide direction to both Analytics and IT team members to ensure that requirements are met and that the project will be successful, deferring recommendations and advisement to specific subject matter experts when appropriate.
