With over 19 years of experience within the Events and Marketing industries, Mark is a highly accomplished General Management professional with a proven track record in building business from the ground up and delivering improved business outcomes.During his career, Mark has demonstrated continual progression, advancing through the ranks from a Lead Design and Project Manager to State Manager and most recently a Business Director leading the NSW business at Pico Australia. This progression was attributed to Mark’s instrumental role in establishing, growing and leading key Blue Chip client accounts spanning most industries and for his reputation as a highly regarded advisor in his field. As a recognised leader and key relationship builder, Mark has lead the NSW office from inception to support the organisation’s broader business growth strategy. Since this time, Mark has built a high performing team for NSW, as well as significantly contributing to the continued growth of the Australian and the Asia Pacific businesses.The key to Mark’s success is his ability to build and strengthen relationships, and effectively manage change and risks at both an organisational strategic and operational level for his business and his clients’ businesses to ensure client satisfaction is at the front and centre of Pico Australia’s people, strategy and culture.In his current role as Business Director, NSW, Mark balances the leadership of client projects and relationships, with the coaching and mentoring of his people to help them thrive and grow. Mark is also passionate about continuous improvement demonstrated through his innate drive and success in delivering best-in-class, memorable and unique experiences and projects for his clients and developing underlying processes and talent to enable this. Mark currently holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from the University of NSW.
