CurrentI have Curatorial responsibility for LGBTQ+ History within the Department of History & Archaeology at St Fagans National Museum of History. Also, Curatorial responsibility for early historic photography collections, including an internationally important collection by the circle of John Dillwyn Llewelyn (a collection of 1,240 prints, paper and glass negatives, mainly dating to the 1850s).I am also responsible for managing the industry and transport photographic collection of over 206,000 images. This involves curation, research, cataloguing, arranging digitisation, improving storage conditions, as well as dealing with enquiries from other curators, media companies and the public. As part of this I have gained experience in copyright, due diligence, digital preservation, as well as the history of photography and photographic techniques.I also assist in the management of and access to the collection. The Department has a very diverse and varied collection, so I am experienced in cataloguing, handling and packing a wide variety of objects and materials.
