Mr. Etheridge currently serves as the Principal Investigator for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) sponsored Nuclear Capabilities Services (NuCS) program. In this capacity, he manages the project schedule and budget, high level tasking, personnel assignments, design, code, and engineering reviews and coordination with the customer, relevant contractors and users. He is also heavily involved in integration, verification, and validation of various NuCS capabilities, the preparation and review of methodology reports, and design documents.

Mr. Etheridge served as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Corning, Inc. His primary roles included project management, design, and development of various prototype equipment designs which led to production improvements and improvements in product quality. His managerial responsibilities in this position included managing overall project budgets, coordination with external suppliers, ordering, personnel assignments, scheduling, and overall project coordination. Mr. Etheridge successfully conceptualized, desgined, analyzed, and implemented a high temperature, prototype annealing furnace that significantly reduced SMF28 fiber attenutation. In 2002, Mark was the sole recipient of the Product and Process Development Division Cash Award for his contributions to product improvements.
