My previous employer, Recital who are a leading polyurethane foam manufacturer. With the Manufacturing of this product being high risk, the site is classified as a middle tier COMAH site, so HSE is of Great importance. I am a conscientious individual with hands on managerial skills and experience in communicating with all levels within the working environment. I’m very motivated to improve and help the business especially in the area of Health and Safety compliance. Striving to ensure that all current regulation requirements are met and ensuring a safe working environment for all.One of my main priorities is to ensure that everyone understands the importance of Health and Safety and that everyone has a critical part to play in making a safe working environment. Over the last few years, I have successfully implemented the transition to the new standards within ISO14001-2015, ISO4500-2015 and ISO 50001-2018 I am a focused professional who has been praised as detail- oriented by my fellow team members and senior managers. Over the course of my career which has spanned nearly 30 years, I’ve have developed multiple skills which will aid in the building of safety , especially with some of my experiences with Health and Safety. Overall, I constantly demonstrate clear communication skills which can be used over all levels within business, I take a very pragmatic approach to tasks being completed and very structured management approach towards Health and SafetyI have also experiences as a Quality Manager / Project Manager, within this time period I have became more involved with relationships with customers based in the UK and also the Far East, this as improved mycommunication skills due to the difference in Culture and ways of business is undertaken. I am able to liaise directly with customers and fully understand the importance of customer focus; I can work as part of a team or on my own and can make decisions based on previous experience within themanufacturing industry.
