Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia consists of the main hospital plus 5 regional centers, Desta Mender rehabilitation and the Hamlin College of Midwives. In all there were amonst 600 employees in these eight locations.Specialised in the treatment of Childbirth injuries and rehabilitation of women suffering from Obstetric Fistula. More recently the organisation focussed attention on prevention through the training of midwives and their deployment to rural Ethiopia.As the CEO I planned and oversaw the construction and development of services into the 5 regional centres, the planning and implementation of the college to train midwives with facilites and staff currently training up to 100 rural young women who will be deployed and supervised working in rural locations of Ethiopia.As the CEO I developed a Mission and strategic plan and worked with the expanding leadership team to plan for the future, with a focus on prevention, training of clinical practicianers and research.

Leading the programme providing services to refugees from Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia. Services included Health care, specialised TB and Ante Natal clinics, Income generation and training, advocacy and emergency food and clothing.This was a programme within the Episcopal Church in Egypt
