    The responsibilities of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs include:1. Develop, coordinate and supervise the implementation of policies, processes, operations and procedures to plan, promote, execute and facilitate the undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the College of Engineering. This is to include the design and development of programs to assist faculty with their teaching, and the provision and oversight of staff support, facilities, and equipment for effective delivery of education. It also includes developing and deploying appropriate assessment and funding mechanisms, publicity literature, and awards for faculty and students.2. Promote, coordinate and deploy educational initiatives, faculty and staff development, laboratory development and equipment needs within the COE, working with the Department Chairs, Dean of Engineering, and Executive Associate Dean of Engineering.3. Seek and secure funding for educational programs, working with Department chairs and faculty.4. Serve as a liaison to external groups with respect to accreditation, alumni relations, and professional organizations.
