Securitisation - Full governance and operational review of all Fastnet securitisations relating to the Irish residential mortgage book.Collateral Management – Presented a full review outlining proposed improvements. Treasury Counterparty Credit Policy – Reviewed and updated.Intra-day Liquidity – Authored the new policy document.

Restructured a number of securitisations in order to maintain access to ECB funding. The process involved liasing with the rating agencies, the Irish central bank, investment banking advisors, legal advisors, trustees, as well as co-ordinating with all relevant internal parties and senior management.

Jointly, co-ordinated the implementation of the (ELG) Government Guarantee Scheme in January 2010. Irish Life & Permanent plc were the first institution to join the scheme. Also, co-ordinated the inaugural medium term bond issue by an Irish Bank in the US Market for USD 1.75bn.

Primary responsibility for the € 15bn Euro Medium Term Note Senior and Subordinated Debt Funding Programme. Was completing up to 100 private placement transactions per annum, both vanilla and structured. Also, managed all public benchmark transactions with deal sizes ranging from € 500m to € 1bn. Funding Award – Voted Best Corporate Issuer by Capital Market Daily. (2006)Responsibility for relationship management with the investment banking community and primary company representative at the Irish Banking Federation.Securitisation Manager 2005 – 2012. Six Irish transactions and five UK transactions totalling in excess of Euro 25bn. Managed the Bank Liquidity Bond Portfolio 2003 – 2007. Primarily invested in Bank Floating Rate Notes, Sovereign Bonds and Residential Mortgage Backed Securities. Covered Bonds 2008/2009 – Led project to assess Covered Bonds as potential funding tool. Worked on a proposal in conjunction with investment banking partners and legal counsel, which was presented to the Regulator and the ACS Steering Group at the Irish Banking Federation.Collateral Management 2008 – Initiated and jointly managed the project, which led to the setting up the collateral management function at the end of 2008. Initiated set up of the French Commercial Paper Programme in 2005

Wholesale Funding Programmes – Managed the annual updates of the various bank wholesale funding programmes. These included the Euro Medium Term Note Programme for capital market borrowing, and other short term programmes such as US Commercial Paper, Euro CP and French CP.Counterparty Credit Lines - Preparation of credit proposals for presentation to the Group Credit Committee. This involved assessing the creditworthiness of other banks, governments and asset backed transactions in relation to potential cash, bond and derivative exposure arising from normal treasury activities. Documentation – Responsibility for all trade and master agreement documentation. This included all EMTN documentation, ISDA agreements, repurchase agreements, loan documentation and programme documentation for the wholesale funding programmes and securitisations.
