The primary person responsible for leading and managing the mechanical, plumbing, building automation systems (BAS), medical gas systems, fuel systems, insulation, water treatment systems, cooling for numerous data centers throughout the hospital, and test and balance (TAB) contract for this 440,000 square foot Hospital for the State of North Carolina. Responsibilities include safety, project execution in conformance to project/contract required scheduling, budgeting, cost control, quality control, change management, and commissioning of all systems. Established a new and innovative “control your own destiny project culture,” implementing new financial control systems, inventory control systems, material expediting systems, project reporting systems, pre-task planning systems, project transparency and accountability systems, project collaboration systems, problem solving systems and project documentation systems preventing further financial loses, schedule delays, miscommunication, mistrust and theft. These actions stopped the financial hemorrhaging of the project and established the processes necessary for a successful turnaround.
