As the operations coordinator I am often required to brief senior officers on the projects, costs and outputs of the RM Band Service.• Managed the deployment of 54 musicians from HM Royal Marines Band Scotland to deploy for HM Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral (Op BRIDGE) in Scotland and London. Roles included the transportation of all band members and equipment, senior management meetings, organising accommodation and passing key logistical information to senior management.• Managed the deployment of up to 54 personnel whilst deployed on operational duties supporting Rescript (COVID-19) support in 2021. Roles Included attending senior management meetings, reading through comprehensive military orders and passing directions to all deployed personnel. I was responsible for welfare, transport, accommodation and feeding arrangements for all personnel.• Controlled all commitments and logistics for a large international programme of events, negotiating with internal and external agencies on behalf of the Royal Marines Band Service and the Ministry of Defence. Notable events include Mountbatten Festival of Music in the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and numerous events for the Royal Family and Foreign Embassies around the world. • Proven ability to consistently meet strict deadlines and achieve all targets through the use of excellent prioritisation, time management and personnel management skills.
