Whether it's playin' in my 50s trio, The Holy Rocka Rollaz, performing with my wife, Lisa Lynn, at assisted livings, writing and recording music for ads or teaching guitar...it all adds up to a life of music. Downloaded and QC'd master .wav and .aiff files from music producers from our ftp server. I was the first set of ears on the masters that made sure the recordings and mixes were of high quality and free of digital errors.Used Waveburner to create CD masters for the company's Lifescapes Music Collection. These masters were then sent to replicating plants. It was my responsibility to ensure they were perfect. Properly sequenced and labeled with no digital errors/blips. One mistake on my part could cost the company tens of thousands of dollars. In delivering hundreds of masters, my record was flawless. This process included the making of PQ sheets.With Waveburner I edited sampler tracks for the company's Target in-store interactives. It was my responsibility to listen to each record carefully and find short segments of songs from the record and then put three or four of them together in a one-minute track. I would hire professional voice over talent, write the copy, conduct the recording session and then place the voice over work with the music.Maintained an ISRC Database on Google Docs that the entire company used for record keeping. This had to be perfect as it pertained to many various bookkeeping aspects company wide.Created and maintained an intra-company iTunes Database that included every album the company made. Over 600 full .wav albums. Co-workers could search it via album title, artist, song title, genre & year and immediately find and hear what they needed.Assigned the task of converting all of the albums to high quality 320 kbps VBR mp3s, assigning ISRC codes, gathering album artwork and uploading the files to the company that ran our company's website.Performed sound design on a handful of "Spooky Sounds" records, Parents Magazine Children CDs and many nature sound releases.Proficient in Logic recording software.Co-produced, co-wrote, played guitar on Lifescapes Music and Parents Magazine CDs.
