My work experience has been in a supervisor, consulting, and inspecting, role for the new construction of oil and gas facilities, turbine power facilities, and mining facilities. My duties have included, overseeing the electrical, instrumentation and controls construction installations, managing the manpower requirements to daily priorities, following up on equipment specifications and delivery, and providing technical support for the commissioning and startup teams. With my Electrical Safety Codes experience I made sure that all equipment and installations were in accordance with the Canadian Code and the installation met the client's requirements and engineering specifications. I was responsible for excepting the contractors ITP and completed turnover packages. All the projects came with a stringent and aggressive time schedule that had to be performed in a safe and proficient manner. I have also been certified to be a certifier for the Canadian Standards Association. I've done these certifications through, QPS, Intel/Intertek and QAI. I have recently completed the 7 - PMI courses through Mount Royal Collage for Project Management. My purpose for applying for any position is to help the company with all electrical and instrument control needs and to help your company grow and succeed with all my experience and resources. I respectfully appreciate working in a team environment and know the importance of having input from other people is required for a successful project.
