My day job is in consumer and shopper insights, as Founder of Quirk. I've been a qualitative researcher for over 25 years. In that time I have worked in just about every category, across the consumer, retail, government and business-to-business sectors, mostly in the areas of customer experience and brand and comms development. Before starting Quirk, I was a Partner at Blue Moon Research and Planning, one Australia's most successful independent agencies, and Joint Managing Director after its acquisition by GfK. I started Quirk in 2014 to get back to what I love most about what we do - understanding what makes people tick and what that means for our clients. I set up the Insights and Strategy Exchange as a place for insights, marketing and advertising professionals to share useful consumer and shopper insights. After all, in this fast-paced ever changing world, the better we know people, the better we are at what we do.
