I plan and produce radio programme content for broadcasting from our local Hive Community Radio Station at Bede's World in Jarrow, from the initial contact of musicians, artists, bands, people of interest with a story to tell, through the interviewing, editing, and final broadcasting stages.This is a new and exciting experience for me, but one I'm thoroughly enjoying. It's also a very important documenting service of our vibrant heritage and cultural records, some of which are under threat of being completely forgotten within our own living memory with the complete destruction of our local industries, libraries, theatres, cinemas, galleries, museums, community swimming pools and many other important culture and heritage sites.We need community radio stations like ours to ensure our rich heritage is told by the people who actually experienced it. We've already recorded some great content from local artists and people wanting to tell their story of their lives in the North East, and this content can only grow and become even more substantial. I just hope we manage to create the best programmes we can for everyone taking part.

I produce and exhibit sculptures, installation art and paintings nationally and internationally with work showing at the European Parliament Building in Brussels, Gerlingen Germany and South Korea.I installed and ran my own solo exhibition Northern Light at The Sanctuary Art Space in Gateshead to coincide with the 2011 Turner Prize arrival at BALTIC in Gateshead. I've also exhibited colourful abstract paintings in my solo show On Reflection at Bede's World Gallery in 2013 which ended Friday 15th March.
