    The introduction of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Leonardo and other key technologies provided an opportunity to engage with SAP customers in new ways. My role was to engage with SAP sales teams and customers to explore how these new areas of innovation might be leveraged to drive new business opportunities.It was necessary to collaborate closely with global teams to develop and deliver new training material for SAP Sales teams. Teaching and showcasing Design Thinking approaches and similar techniques assisted the sales teams to identify new opportunities to assist their customers. This was then expanded with designing, expanding, and enhancing service offerings to deliver on the promise of the new solutions.I enhanced my skills by developing, managing, and delivering a range of customer facing events to present SAP innovations and solutions across various locations within APJ. These events were always adapted to suit the location and culture of the audience, sometimes requiring the services of interpreters to effectively present the offerings. These factors enhanced my communications skills and understanding of cultural diversity requirements.My role included tracking the outcomes of the business development and sales management activities. The outcomes, measured through CRM, highlighted results above and beyond the performance metrics set for my position.

    My role was to create and lead six (6) consulting teams consisting of more than 50 resources located across APJ and Greater China to form a new SAP Centre of Excellence for the delivery of HANA services. Each team was managed locally by a Team Leader who was responsible for local skills development, sales support and implementation services for the new SAP HANA technology.The teams were responsible for introducing SAP HANA functionality into the market, assisting SAP customers and Partners to implement and maximise the value derived from the new technology. A key activity associated with this was to ensure that each member within the teams shared their knowledge and experience openly to educate those new to SAP HANA.My role was to develop and drive the necessary business strategies, go-to-market models, delivery frameworks and models and skills development. I collaborated closely with other Centre of Excellence teams across the globe to drive strong and consistent growth of SAP HANA and create a strong foundation of skills in every major market in APJ.I was recognised as a strong and positive leader within SAP due to the rapid growth of SAP Services Sales, SAP HANA skills and knowledge and successful customer implementations within the APJ and Greater China regions.
