A Not for Profit Trust managing the affairs of the heritage Car Museum - Ford Discovery Centre.The museum with over 250,000 visitors during 13 years provided a unique behind the scenes opportunity to experience how cars are designed, engineered and built. A local award winning tourist destination in Geelong the business was run with dedicated 3 FTE employees and a loyal group of selfless volunteers and supporting Board of Management. In July 2012 it was regrettably decided to close the museum. I maintained a role with the Board as we managed the wind-down of business operations and dispersion of the collection.

A self guided journey through the Australian History of a remarkable global company with a long and proud heritage in Australia. The musuem included a retail store, corporate events and education programs.In July 2012 it was regrettably decided to close the museum. Staying on to manage the wind-down of business operations and dispersion of the collection we were proud to complete by December 2013 ensuring collection remained on public display in the region and supporting local organisations with remaining funds donated.
