Designed/developed automated test solutions for broadband access routers. Networking technology included fiber, dsl, wifi, and ethernet. These systems were used in high volume / high capacity screening centers and repair centers, testing up to 100K units per month. Systems were PC based and utilized virtualization technology like Oracle VirtualBox and linux containers. Also developed automated test stations for DC power supplies. Designed / configured lab network for testing data and video applications, with suport for IPv4 and IPv6.

I developed embedded software for broadband access equipment (routers) in the home and small office (customer premises equipment). Broadband technologies included adsl, sdsl, and T1/E1. Applications included data, voice, and video delivery.

I developed embedded software for in-vehicle communication/tracking systems which integrated a cell phone, modem, and gps.

I received flight training and was certified as a commercial pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings, also was certified as a flight instructor with multi-engine and instrument ratings

I worked with factory automation (robotics, material handling, cnc, assembly) and developed software for a highly automated plant startup for manufacturing scroll compressors for residential A/C units. I also managed a group of six persons responsible for IT in the plant (computers, networks, MRP, automation, etc).
