Senior ConsultantProject Procure Apr 2011 - Oct 2011Brisbane, AustraliaWithin this short-term contract, I operated as a consultant for a specialist procurement consultancy group operating extensively throughout both the state government sector and the energy and resources sectors. This role was responsible for the delivery of specialist procurement projects, where I conducted organisational / departmental procurement capability reviews to determine areas of opportunity and improvement to ensure that procurement excellence was being achieved. As a consultant, I also provided clients with a range of services undertaking a detailed analysis of spend, cost reduction and risk management, in addition to delivering probity auditing services and conducted contract negotiations and contract performance reviews on behalf of clients.While in the role, I oversaw the management and delivery of complex and critical procurement processes with multiple governmental and large resource company stakeholders and was the project lead for the team that completed a full governmental department procurement review including the review of the 2011 FY budget (in excess of $2B). -
