Currently retired after serving twenty five plus years in law enforcement in both the Uniform and Detective Divisions. Served twelve years in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division and in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. Later served with the Air National Guard as a JAG NCO. Returned to the Army Reserves serving as a Intelligence Analyst and was cross trained in Military Police Operations and Tactics. Activated and served in Operation Joint Endeavor 1996-1997. Upon retirement from local law enforcement in 2000 I worked briefly as an analyst at the federal level in Boston; returned to NY and served as a security supervisor at various corporate sites. Served as a Senior School Safety Officer for eight years for a school district in Dutchess County, NY before fully retiring in 2012.

Newtown, Connecticut

During it's existence(Fairfield Hills State Hospital) I worked as a counselor in the Drug Rehabilitation Unit which was called EDAN HOUSE(End Dependency on Drugs and Narcotics) and helped develop and worked in the Adolescent Unit ADAM HOUSE( Adolescents Developing And Maturing). Both programs were very successful. I was very proud to have participated in both programs, but when provided the opportunity to join the law enforcement community, a childhood dream of mine, there is no way I could decline. I am very grateful for the opportunity afforded me and the decision I made to accept.
