As the Head of Pre-Contracts, Safety and Quality, I am focused on streamlining the internal structures and processes, including succession planning to the latest MNC standards. Additional Responsibilities• Reporting directly to the CEO.Managing a competent pre-contract team launching 1BUSD worth of multi-planned developments consisting of 16,000 residential units and commercial and industrial assets each year. Working closely with the development teams to identify and quantify the time, costs and risks associated with each project through the design development process, looking for high-value engineering opportunities and ensuring the project pre-launches are kept to the program. EHS manages 60 projects via a large and capable safety staff with functional reporting to the projects via their respective Project Managers. Provide strategic safety advice and review safety statistics, and conduct peer reviews of all significant safety incidents for reporting to the Board. Design and construction optimisation, review design and building process, ensuring best practices are adopted that lift the quality and reputation of the company, incorporating long-term maintenance and life cycle costings of the building operation. Monitor common defects and customer complaints and ensure the company's Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) policies are modified to ensure the focus is on continual improvement, not just compliance.

My role as General Manager was to manage operations across India and position the Leighton brand as the contractor of choice by establishing a focused strategic plan and pursuing targeted market opportunities. Notable Achievements• Developed meaningful KPIs resulting in business growth of circa 30 per cent per annum, with operations across India delivering over 2B USD worth of work.• Championed promoting a trusted and mutually respectful work partnership with the project delivery teams, valued clients, key business stakeholders and preferred third-party sub-contractor relationships.• Recruited, managed and developed a sustainable workforce, including a Head Office staff of 55 through eight direct reports, which managed ten projects with 800 staff and 10,000 direct labour.• Provided consistent and direct leadership and effectively resolved complex industrial relations issues and developed team members, including trade apprentices and cadets, to enable career advancement.Managed corporate overheads and capex expenditure, including 100M USD of company plant and assets.
