I spent 23 years in the music business. Beginning in retail store management, then to corporate purchasing, and finally into distribution where I became the Sales Manager for the Los Angeles Branch of PolyGram Records. I also worked in the wholesale sales and management end of the music business. My music career was focused on retail sales, marketing, and advertising. After exiting the music business due to the decline of the retail aspect of music, I worked in sales and management in the non-music retail and distribution sectors.In 2017, my background in management, operations, and customer service, (with some emergency operations experience); led me to being hired as the Security Manager for the Rolling Hills HOA. It was unexpected and outside of my knowledgebase but they needed someone to come in to create a cohesive staff and to overhaul the operations. This has turned into a successful career choice and I work in the most beautiful three-square-miles of Los Angeles County. Truly blessed!

  Manage a gate staff of 23 full & part time people and oversee security for a private, gated community with 700 homes. Responsible for gate entry processing and the policies & procedures related to it. Manage security on our perimeter, our roads, & on thirty miles of equestrian trails. Respond to and manage emergency response operations. Wrote our Emergency Operations guide. Conduct all staff hiring, training, and scheduling. Wrote our operations manuals for Emergency Evacuations, Managing Civil Unrest, and Active Shooter Management.Write articles about various issues for the residents of the community, in Stroll Magazine.
