Primary consultant contracted to provide philanthropic and capacity building advisory services to The Army of Survivors (TAOS), a small, athlete survivor founded organization focused on programming and advocacy for a future where sports are characterized by safety, respect, and justice for all athletes. • Co-lead with Principal Consultant on educating and building the development and fundraising capacity of TAOS staff and board members. Responsible for landscaping and prioritizing a portfolio of various new potential philanthropic donors, conceptualizing pitch materials tailored to different donor segments, and working with TAOS staff and board members to engage and build new donor relationships.

Expert consultant providing an informed, external lens to ensure Comic Relief US (CRUS) grants are high-impact investments that contribute to the safety, health, education, and empowerment of marginalized children in the US and around the world.• Manage a portfolio of a dozen CRUS grantee partners, serving as a primary point of contact between grantee partners and the CRUS Grants Team, and advising the refinement of grantee partner applications and reports to achieve maximum alignment, learning, and impact.

Strategic advisor to multi-donor public charity fund partnering with community-based organizations (CBOs) to drive systems change for children and youth in eastern and southern Africa. Children in Families Initiative (2014-2022): • Guided the design, implementation, and evaluation of a dynamic, collaborative public-private partnership between the foundation, six local and international NGOs, and the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services (MCDSS) in Zambia, spanning eight years and over $17 million in investment. • Established a cohesive, aligned implementation approach among all six partners and the MCDSS resulting in an integrated child protection model currently scaling up across 20 districts in Zambia. • Co-led the development of a comprehensive, organizational safeguarding policy and roll-out strategy for all GHR-related efforts across three primary domains consisting of six different program areas.• Served as Steering Committee Chair of Elevate Children Funders Group, spearheading the organizational oversight and governance of a complete Secretariat staffing transition and network strategic refresh through the height of the global COVID-19 pandemic, and culminating in a rejuvenated and re-engaged member network with stronger, pro-active leadership appropriately tailored to network member needs.BridgeBuilder Challenge (2016-2021):• Envisioned, developed, and launched GHR’s annual $1 million BridgeBuilder Challenge, an open-innovation philanthropic platform to source and fund community-driven solutions addressing urgent global challenges at the intersections of peace, prosperity, and planet. • Grew each Challenge year-upon-year by equitably expanding the application and review process, attracting over 1,700 ideas across 185 countries over three years, and engaging with over 35,000 changemakers worldwide.• Managed the developmental evaluation of all three BridgeBuilder Top Idea cohorts to catalyze and cross-fertilize principles-based learning across geographies and issue areas.

• Collaborated with preeminent Indigenous consultant and community members from seven different Native nations over a 12-month period to research, co-create, propose, and launch a 10-year, $10 million strategy for foundation partnership and investment in community-led, holistic Native early childhood development (ECD) rooted in cultural revitalization and language preservation. • Led multi-year foundation effort to partner with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Center for Indian Country Development to create the “Healthy Children, Healthy Nations” initiative, resulting in $220,000 in grants to 10 Native nations and nonprofits in Minnesota.• Responsible for strategic development, ongoing partnership management (including multiple site visits per year), and programmatic oversight of multi-year grants (totaling nearly $3 million) to 6 different ECD non-profit partners in Tanzania and Lesotho.• Provided strategic advisement, collaboration development support, and cross-learning support to three consortiums of Better Way ECD partners across three different countries.
