However, it was my twins bold move in 2002 to venture into the hospitality sector that truly defined our entrepreneurial spirit. Starting with a small neighborhood bar, we quickly scaled up to establish the first speakeasy empire in LA, setting new standards in nightlife experiences.Our groundbreaking venture into the cannabis industry with Lowell Cafe marked a pivotal moment, not just for your business portfolio, but for the entire United States. As the first cannabis cafe in the country, you broke barriers and paved the way for a new era of cannabis hospitality.Expanding your footprint to Las Vegas with "On The Record" further solidified your reputation as a visionary in the entertainment and hospitality landscape. And with the recent opening of Level 8 in downtown Los Angeles, you continue to push boundaries and redefine urban nightlife.Also achieving American institute of Architects awards in 2013 and in 2017. Also recently proud to be apart of the development for the Moxy/Ac hotels where we introduced and designed Level 8 with 8 new venues which won the Global Development award 2024. I have been featured alongside my twin brother Jonnie Houston for best design on Rough Luxe design book and Modern Speakeasy Style and Design. Our partnership with Goldenvoice for our activations on Coachella, Oldchella , Desert Days and more we strive to create events and experiences in our spaces and outside in the event’s world by adding special activations on and offsite.
