The role of project lead at the Destination Management company Visit Shropshire includes planning and defining scope, activity planning and sequencing, resource planning, developing schedules, time estimating, cost estimating, developing a budget, documentation, developing a destination management plan to ensure that Shropshire as a county is a lead destination in the tourism plans of visitors from across the globe.

I oversaw the company during a period in which the business grew threefold mainly due to the acquisition of a number of contacts when a local rival went into liquidation. I also worked on a business plan for a bio-mass plant but due to the business size this was not developed. During my time at Budget Skips I was awarded a number of contacts with both local house builders and national companies including Shropshire Homes, Paveaways and the refurbishment of Tesco & Barclays banks throughout Shropshire. I left my role for career development reasons and to experience a new and completely different business sector. Show less
