CurrentI am part of a team of 80 plus support staff with responsibility for all aspects of the operation and management of the Nomura properties within Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The normal place of work is London but from time to time am required to work in other locations to meet operational needs. The main activities of the Real Estate & Services department include property acquisition, disposal and space utilisation, general operation, administration, maintenance and repair, corporate travel, financial control and insurances. In addition we manage the contents and all services required to provide a quality safe and secure environment for staff, clients and visitors.Reporting to the Head of Real Estate & Services for Nomura International plc,i am responsible for all M&E operations and maintenance activities, including property management within various Nomura portfolio properties and in an advisory capacity for other locations as required. Working closely with the Head of RE&S for NI plc will assume responsibility for the management and delivery of special infrastructure projects as directed by NI plc. Directing other members of the RE&S group, who are responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure fully supports Nomura’s business, projects are planned, managed and completed under/within current legislative requirements and that the value of our property assets are maintained.
