Currently:Mark's current role is overall responsibility for the utility project development team in support of McPhee’s electric utility division reporting to the company President, and works in partnership with estimating and operations teams to develop sound planning/schedules/proposals on projects, proposal strategy governance/guidance, and customer contract negotiations. Since most projects that we provide services on, McPhee functions in the prime contractor role and are complex, we strive to offer excellence in work safety practices, quality of workmanship, and adherence to client deadlines. In this role Mark is proud to lead my project development team providing oversight at an executive level, always with focus on “planning the work and working the plan”, building/maintaining relationships with clients/key subcontractors/suppliers. Experience:Having joined the McPhee in 1995 with the position of PM, Mark was then promoted in 1998 to GM handling operation of the utility division, where he developed and implemented business plan that led McPhee to become a regional leader in high voltage transmission industry, including providing electrical/prime construction contracting, and design/build EPC project delivery services to our clients. Mark was promoted to company VP in 2003, continuing to oversee utility division operations in New England and NY through 2015, and now serves McPhee leading the utility project development team.Notable projects:Some notable projects completed include some the largest undertaken in the North America, which are the Cross Sound Cable HVDC Transmission Project, Bethel to Norwalk (CT)Transmission Project, Middletown to Norwalk Transmission (CT) project, NEEWS/GSRP Transmission Project (CT/MA), NEEWS/IRP Transmission project (MA/RI), Block Island Wind Farm & Mainland Interconnection Project, Nantucket Island, MA 48MWH Grid Scale BESS & Substation/Stand-By Turbine Genset Interface Project, Aquidneck Island, RI Transmission Upgrade Reliability Project, Greenwich (CT) Substation and UG Transmission Line Project, Greater Hartford Central CT Transmission Project....
