Over 30 years experience in the NSW coal industry, that includes working for private coal companies, environmental and mining consulting, and experience within NSW government. Demonstrated delivery of planning, developing and delivering approvals for greenfield and brownfield mining projects.This range of experience includes:• Gaining Environmental and Mining Lease approvals for coal mining operations in NSW• Compliance management of mining operations• Environmental and community management of operational coal mines• Preparation and implementation of Environmental Management Plans • Compliance management with NSW and Commonwealth legislation to mining operations• Exploration of coal resources, coal reserve and coal quality assessments• Project management of EIS, environmental assessments and geotechnical site investigations• Environmental planning and constraints analysis to open cut and underground coal mining • Community consultation, Federal & NSW Government and stakeholder liaison • Environmental training and auditing
