I have been privileged to bring innovative, community-changing projects to fruition in the diverse arenas of private commercial real estate development, nonprofit leadership, and city government leadership.Accomplishments include helping develop one of the region's most successful corporate office parks, establishing Florida's first public school for homeless children, establishing the first public housing owned assisted living facility in Florida, helping create City transforming master-planned communities, facilitating cutting edge affordable housing initiatives, securing significant corporate retention and attraction projects, facilitating the University of South Florida Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation, and facilitating the first University of Florida Innovation Station in the state.Leadership results have been grounded in successful inter-organizational and cross-functional collaborations and building robust, and high performing staff teams committed to strategic and execution excellence. I bring a rare blend of technical problem-solving capability, fiscal management, leadership vision, project management, and complex collaboration skills.I believe in the power of community service. I have volunteered on the Boards of over 15 economic development organizations and social service nonprofits. I have enjoyed coaching youth sports and mentoring as a Big Brother. I have led at my church in governance, fundraising, and adult teaching.
