Project Manager for the $3.3M Substation Automation System project with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

- LAWA’s (Los Angeles World Airports’) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Airports Development Group (ADG) PMCM Program Central Utility Plant (CUP) Replacement Project Senior Electrical Project Manager, Owner’s representative. Responsible for studies, managing engineers to prepare design-bid-build contracts, bridging documents for design-build packages, as well as taking the project through construction, testing, commissioning and orchestrating complex shutdowns in the heart of LAX, resulting in high client satisfaction. The design-build package was the first design-build package for the Los Angeles World Airports. The CUP Budget was ~$500M with the CUP Electrical Budget of ~$150M. - The new CUP has a maximum cooling capacity of ~20,000 tons and a maximum heating capacity of ~70,000 MBH. The electrical scope included four DWP Industrial Stations and two 10 MVA temporary Mobile Substations, feeding three 4160 V services. The electrical scope also included two cogeneration units utilizing Combustion Turbine Generators (CTG) which will produce approximately 8.8 MW of electric power through two sets of 4160 V paralleling switchgear. - Served as Project Manager for the only CUP enabling project, the $10M Temporary Power and Associated Relocations (TPAR) project. In the footprint of the new CUP was the main electrical system for the old existing CUP, which included the main LADWP Industrial Station, three electrical services and distribution equipment along with the emergency generator. - This project won the ENR California 2015 Best Energy/Industrial Project Award. - This project also won a DBIA WPR (Design-Build Institute of America-Western Pacific Region) 2016 Design-Build Award. - Provided at LAX in ADG, Electrical Task Force leadership, Department of Water and Power coordination, Network Station Conceptual Design assistance, Bradley West Conceptual Design assistance, High Voltage Design Standards management and Electrical Utility Master Plan reviews.

Provided electrical engineering for numerous school projects including Carlsbad High School Modernization with a central plant.

- Principal in charge of managing the Oceanside office and managed the 8-member Electrical Engineering Discipline Staff in the Los Angeles and Oceanside offices. - Provided electrical engineering direction for projects such as the ITT Gilfillan new radar manufacturing and test facility, Westfield Santa Anita and Plaza Bonita Mall Expansions, various large condominium complexes and 2nd & Colorado office building located in Santa Monica.

- Managed the 18-member Electrical Engineering Discipline Staff, in the Southern California office.Provided a 100% increase in staff while increasing productivity and profitability by 20%. - Provided electrical engineering direction on mission critical, fast-track, design-build projects, including commissioning for clients such as Bank of America, Intel, AT&T, Level 3, Genuity, Pacific Internet Exchange, DLJ Direct, Aperian, KTTV & Broadcom.

- Responsible for all substation and electrical infrastructure projects and products, company-wide, with national responsibility. - Launched and initiated the Substation Design/Build Product Group.

- Responsible for a staff of 10 engineering and architecturally oriented project managers.- General ledger responsibility and accountability for all regional office financials including financial projections and profitability.

- With a staff of 46 employees, staff productivity exceeded 85%, with an average Net Labor Multiplier of over 2.7. - Quality management was implemented while increasing staff by 50% and achieving high levels of morale.

- Started up the Telecommunications Business Unit and provided full business management duties including marketing. - Hired staff of 33 and launched a project office in Denver was launched with the opportunity to develop a permanent office.

- Managed the 18-member Electrical Engineering Discipline, company-wide. - Provided electrical engineering direction, including commissioning for projects such as the Lawrence Livermore National Lab Tera-scale Computer facility, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo infrastructure upgrade, Chino CIM infrastructure upgrade and the US Mint infrastructure upgrade. - Projects resulted in high client satisfaction with numerous letters of commendation.

- Responsible for all electrical engineering, design and specifications for various projects, including a 2000 bed maximum security California State Prison and an electrical master plan for a 1 million square foot hospital complex. - Major projects included California State Prison, Susanville, California and University of California, Irvine, Medical Center, Orange, California.

- Chief electrical engineer responsible for all electrical engineering, design and specifications for various projects, including over 2 million square feet of tenant improvements of office building space and nearly $2 million of residential electrical construction. - Major projects included tenant improvements for California Plaza I and II and 1999 Avenue of the Stars, Century City, California; Southern California Edison Irvine Operations Center and Aaron Spelling’s House, Holmby Hills, California.
