Started my career in management in the grocery business back in the eighties. Spent five years as Assistant store Manager at Grand Union until company closed in 84". From 84 to 91 was a General Manager of a restaurant with Burger King Corporate Miami. Then a change from the food business to the Dry Cleaning business from 91 to 94. Took a position as a District Manager with Dry Clean USA. As in all my previous experiences in management I was successful in meeting goals and expectations, but most importantly, surpassing them. This could only be accomplished through the outstanding effort and hard work of my motivated team! In 94 I joined Best Buy as an assistant manager to learn the retail electronics business. After three years, rose to the ranks of General Manager of the Pembroke Pines store in Broward county Florida. Was a very successful General Manager for six years which ended in 2003 because of personal hardships mainly a divorce. Took a break and moved to Winter Haven in 2005 after meeting my current wife. Took a job opportunity at Hanson Pipe and Precast. Responsibilities included but not limited to, machine operator to team management in accomplishing production goals. Stayed with this company to ride out the Great Recession. Left in 2016 to try my hand in my current interest of Real Estate. In a nut shell I am missing the challenges and rewards of big retail. Now that the economy is booming again. I would welcome a position that would utilize my winning experiences to motivate and inspire a team to great things!
