Mark Ingram serves as the Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics, managing all day to day operations of the athletics department and its staff, coaches and student-athletes. Prior to UAB, Mark served as Associate Vice President and Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director at Temple University, Senior Associate Athletics Director at the University of Tennessee, Assistant Athletics Director for Development at the University of Georgia and University of Missouri.A 1996 graduate from Tennessee, Ingram was a two-year starter for the Volunteers Football Team. He was a two-time Academic All-SEC and twice awarded the Volunteer Award which is given to the most valuable player who is a former walk-on. Also a member of the SEC Good Works Team, Ingram earned his Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Tennessee in 1997.Ingram is married to the former Amy Lynn Weber of Cincinnati, Ohio, who is also a Tennessee graduate. The couple has four children: John (US Naval Academy, ‘24), Anne Lauren (Univ. of Alabama, ’25), Charlie (Mississippi State Univ. ’28) and Audrey (age 16).
