I have sole responsibility for all the systems administration of a medium sized network with circa 600 client machines, 70 staff and 1100 pupils. I oversee all aspects of client and server configuration along with setting the security and filtering policy. I also have full responsibility for routing and switching configuration and firewall policy. This role requires me to bring creative thinking to achieve efficiency as there are tight budget restrictions within the education sector. Since I have joined Grosvenor, I have developed a project involving reuse of legacy machinery along with modern remote desktop technology to enable a 30% increase in the client network with minimal expenditure. Alongside the strategic planning and implementation of the hardware and software maintenance, my role includes direct support of all staff and pupils.

East Belfast Mission is a charity which has been central in community development in one of the most deprived electoral wards in Northern Ireland since 1816. My role involved supporting people within the congregation to understand how they were able to participate with the social outreach projects. This included direct pastoral support for people facing personal difficulties alongside the daily duties of supporting the Superintendent Minister in leading worship and teaching.

As a member of senior branch management, my role required overseeing the daily operations of the supermarket including order management, staff schedules and customer services.
