£420m Brighton 3Ts Redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital.The 3Ts Redevelopment project intends to allow for specialist tertiary, trauma and teaching facilities to be offered in the region.

Responsible for the internal fit-out of the new 82,578m2 world leading biomedical research and innovation facility in the centre of London. The facility will promote connections between researchers, disciplines and academic institutions from all over the world. The fit-out encompasses multiple specialist laboratory and workshop spaces, write-up areas, collaboration and kitchen spaces, and a fully operational lecture theatre. The project faces challenging logistical restraints being located within the heart of London; a peak construction rate of £30m a month expenditure is targeted, with a completion date of August 2015 utilising the DfMA solution to deliver the vigorous standards required by the client.

KHP Cancer Centre at Guy’s HospitalLaing O'RourkeJanuary 2013 – May 2013 (5 months)|London, United KingdomThe £86 m new KHP Cancer Centre at Guy’s Hospital is sited on the southern edge of Guy’s Hospital on the corner of Snowsfields and Great Maze Pond road. The building is generally triangular in plan and 14 storeys high, comprising a number of stacked villages each relating to a particular need. Two main cores are situated at the northwest and northeast corners of the building. There is also a part basement. The site is currently occupied by two low rise buildings, the Newcomen Centre and Bloomfield Clinic. Both building will be demolished prior to the commencement of the main contract works. It is envisaged that these works will be carried out under an enabling contract. The site is of archaeological interest and MOLA will carry out exploratory investigations following their demolition and prior to the main works commencing. A Roman boat is also present located approximately 5m below ground level, partially below the new structure. Works to safeguard this Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Responsible for a team in which deliverd the Internal Fit out of this fast track state of the art single bedded ensuite PFI Hospital ,which also consists of various departments e.g. Mortuary , A/E department ,Maternity and Neo Natal units, Ante –Natal and Post Natal units ,Pharmacy and Aseptic suite , Medical Records, Elective Theatres, Day Surgery theatres, ITU and HDU Theatres, Minor Ops, Acute assessment unit , Education centre ,outpatients ,Nuclear Imaging, Pathology and Blood services science labs ,Restaurants and cafes etc .Also the managing and completion of the final Phase 2 external works which included the isolation and demolition of the remaining hospital buildings ,and formation and completion of the new car parks ,hard and soft landscaping and Helipad, with all handover dates successfully completed with the Project completed some 37 weeks earlier than the contract end date.

Responsible for developing the construction side of the Company in the housing market. My role also within the Company was to introduce procedures relating to Health and Safety (method statements, risk assessments and site safety plans) and the control measures needed to enforce the above.
