• I work with Centre Director and Academic Programmes Manager on the development anddelivery of new academic initiatives including new programme development.• I manage applications for our Direct Enrollment department in collaboration with our Chicago centre.• I organise and administer aspects of academic programmes (including course registration, exams,add/ drop period, timetabling, grades etc).• Coordinate academic advising and academic support for students on our Direct Enrollment and Customised programmes.• In collaboration with the Academic Manager, I prepare and present academic orientation and provide academic guidance and support to students on DE programmes.• I also work closely with our Head Office U.S. based colleagues on all aspects of student cycles.

• I currently act as an Assistant for IES Abroad Dublin.• Based in DCU’s St Patrick’s Campus in Drumcondra, I assist the needs of 51 students and 3 professors from the University of North Carolina. • In addition to offering classroom assistance, my other duties include: providing local/campus information to the professors and students, administrative work, and communicating with IES staff regarding any issues that may arise.

- I’m currently teaching an 8-week module course in Life Writing as part of DCU’sLove of Lifelong Learning Programme, the purpose of which is to facilitate theparticipation of non-traditional students in university modules in a campus setting.- The purpose of the Life Writing module is to encourage students to reflect on theirlives and to learn how to write autobiographical stories in a variety of differentliterary forms.- The module focuses on autobiography, memoir, autofiction, poetry, essay writing and biography. It also considers relevant interdisciplinary studies such as neuroscience, psychology, ethnography, linguistics, philosophy, photography, music and art. As well as teaching the students, I encourage them to engage in reading and writingexercises and provide encouragement and extensive feedback for their original piecesof life writing.- Additionally, I offer assistance in the form of editing support and long term strategiesto enable the continuation and future publication of their writing.

- From 2018 to 2021, I was the sole English Literature tutor for first year Bachelor ofReligion Education students in DCU.- In addition to tutoring students on the subjects of the novel, short stories, poetry anddrama, I also read and corrected their assignments throughout the academic semestersand provided extensive critical feedback.- If required, I have a large number of positive written testimonials from studentsdescribing their time and what they learned under my tutelage.- Additionally, I have contributed to the syllabuses and guest lectured on the EL205 andEL401 Postmodernism modules, providing students with an introduction to DonDeLillo’s postmodern works and a close examination of his novels The Body Artistand Point Omega.
