As many of you who know me my first passion is flying and I have been flying for the past 30 years as an Airline Transport Pilot. I began my journey to an aviation career back in 1988 with my first introductory flight at Winnipeg Aviation to finally starting my career there in 1991. Hard work, passion and desire to fly helped me work for and with some incredible people which finally led me to being apart of an incredible company known as Air Transat. My other passion is the construction industry and this industry is where I started out as soon as I finished high school back in 1983. As a matter of fact I took building construction in high school and to tell you the truth I hated it. However, I ended up working in the construction industry and began to love what I was doing. Of course that is a big thanks to the people who I worked for and with. The biggest influence on me was working for an incredible construction company called "Dave Bays Enterprises" and where I worked under two master carpenters "Robert and Rick" for a few years. Working for these guys is where I learned how to run a large commercial projects successfully. Eventually, I ended up leaving and moving out on my own where I did strive to maintain the same standards I was taught by these incredible guys.Now on my own with MK Builders at the time I began to get involve with the residential part of construction with P&G construction building custom built homes until I ended up changing careers and began my flying career. Needless to say, even during my aviation career I've always continued to build and stay in the construction industry as it was a huge part of who I was. Fast forward to 2005, I finally had a work schedule which gave me a lot of spare time. So, Top Flight Construction was started. Fast forward again to 2020 and now covid 19 has changed the world and has effected the aviation industry so much to where it will be hard to comeback from this I count my blessings that I can fall back and my other passion in the construction industry and be able to bring the high standards I've had drilled in my head from day one in working for Dave and what I had to strive to for the past 30 years in my aviation career. I’m looking forward to the day where we can have all our lives back to normal and look forward to the day where I continue with my passion and where I belong. “In the Air” Until that time I’ll continue to push forward and continue towards making every day count.
