The experiences during my medical training and years of practice convinced me of the importance of ethical decision-making. Having subsequently completed a Master’s Degree in Bioethics and Medical Law from St. Mary's University focusing on End-of-Life Decision Making, I currently teach medical students on a variety of topics regarding Medical Ethics and Medical Law. A pioneer in the field of Clinical Ethics in Malaysia, I work with Malaysian healthcare industry to promote the introduction of Clinical Ethics Committees, and am also the Communications Editor for the New Bioethics journal.
