Retail and product development background specifically in book / publishing sector. Introduction into book retail began at Borders Bookstores in various roles such as Customer Service Manager, Merchandise Manager, and Inventory Manager. Moved into publishing firm Hinkler initially as Customer Service and Sales Support Manager, and then into the production team as Production and Product Development Manager. Being able to experience the publishing industry from both retail and product development sides has been incredibly rewarding, especially since Hinkler exposed me to more than just books such as toys, games, art and craft, and stationery products.
