In my role at The Mentor Group I supported large corporate groups from around the UK in a wide selection of sectors in their management training needs. I provided both bespoke and accredited training programmes at every level of the business.Heavily involved in designing various workshops and events, these helped businesses with their interview selection centres for both new recruits and internal promotion opportunities.

Senior CRM in this award-winning Management Development & HR Consultancy. Clients included Zurich, Tibbet & Britten, Exel, Standard Life Healthcare, Aon, BP, and Guinness. Design and project management of Team Leader and First Line Management bespoke management training programmes, liaison with key Government agencies to secure funding opportunities, networking widely and lobbying decision-makers to extend funding, organising showcase seminars in Central London and Home counties to stimulate new business, ongoing account management and quality assurance.

Co-founder of Radius 360 Limited, a start-up training consultancy company created to inspire people and organisations to become effective in leading, managing and interacting with others. Quickly built the business turnover to £600k with a profit margin of 30%.

Business Advisor for national training organisation Wilsher Group with six centres throughout the UK. I successfully introduced a variety of new accounts from every sector generating an 80% improvement in turnover and improving profitability by a minimum of 8%.

Had the responsibility of project managing the roll-out of Channel 5 launch in the Southeast. Took over the organisation of the recruitment and selection processes for the installation operators, and successfully regained the scheduled project plan after three months adrift.

Managed the transfer of twenty five multinational Scandinavian accounts with credit lines amounting to approximately £10bn back to London. Arranged the Bank’s Lead Manager involvement in two syndicated loan facilities for Jefferson Smurfit FRF 3bn & USD 250m. Devised and implemented a marketing plan for the newly transferred Scandinavian accounts which involved successfully selling a broader range of products, thereby strengthening the Bank’s relationship with these customers.

Responsible for preparation of credit proposals for Group Credit Committee. Successfully lent to an industry sector experiencing great difficulties as a result of severe economic recession without incurring any bad debts for the Bank.

This role included some agency work and focused on the accurate creation and reviewing of complex documentation within tight time constraints. I played a key role in managing the transfer of a portfolio of difficult, doubtful and under performing loans from Crocker Bank USA. It was particularly gratifying to complete an audit of the loan portfolio which resulted in the recovery of over £500k in uncollected fees and interest.

Responsible for providing international banking services which included remitting Sterling & currency payments, dealing in foreign exchange, bills & documentary credits. During this period I helped to more than double branch turnover.

Major personal achievement, I was selected for the Non-Graduate Executive Development Programme in its first year, only 20 were successful from its 200 original entrants.
