I manage the Environmental Protection Team in the delivery of Environmental Health regulatory functions. This covers the control of noise, industrial emissions, land contamination and water supply quality, as well as the management of local air quality and the investigation of various nuisance and public health problems. I am also responsible for advising on the impacts of planning and licensing applications. I am chairman of the Hampshire and Sussex Private Water Supplies Group and a past chairman of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Environmental Control Advisory Committee.
