My development platforms have mainly been on MIPS hardware from Ali running their specified RTOS and I’ve also done some works on Trident (Linux) integration. Coding has been via the GNU toolchain on Cygwin and Linux, tasks included:• Porting Inview middleware into to 3rd party SDK, the hardware/driver interface, and it includes the OS integration, graphics, networking, DVB, AV playback and firmware update. I have done this on Ali and Trident platform.• On-site support for customer debugging• Organize and coordinate the jobs and meetings among UK HQ, IC vendor and ODMs

I spent 3 years and 7 months working as a System Firmware Manger for JMicron Technology, professional fabless IC company that designs high speed and serial interface technology for customers worldwide. My work at JMicron was primarily on the development of a SATA Port Multiplier firmware, cross-platform API and AP for SATA Port Multiplier, also integrated on the USB and 1394 to SATA bridge firmware with SATA Port Multiplier support.Here are my detailed jobs description.• Patent on “Multi Drive”• Patent on “Communication Method Applied For Storage Device ”• A consultant, analysts, a firmware manager and also a professional software engineer• Ported JMB32x, Port Multiplier RAID controller into AWARD and AMI BIOS module and co-worked with Asus and Gigabyte motherboard manufacture to delivery the product to market• Developed and maintained the cross-platform Application Program Interface (API) and document for JMB39x Port Multiplier RAID controller.• Implemented a cross-platform CLI (Command Line Interface) RIAD Manager for JMicron JMB39x Port Multiplier RAID controller.• Implemented a simple cross-platform GUI RAID Manager using QT for JMicron JMB39x Port Multiplier RAID controller• Integrated the SATA Port Multiplier firmware into JMS539, a USB 2.0/USB 3.0 to SATA Bridge• Integrated the SATA Port Multiplier firmware into JMicron JMB355, a 1394 and USB 2.0 to SATA Bridge.
