BioMark Lund is an innovative, collaborative media executive who has worked with some of the premiere entertainment companies in the industry. He has a proven track record of success in leading high-performance teams that consistently delivered significant growth and margin, while focusing on building a positive culture to sustain excellence. From 2012-2021 Mark served as President & General Manager of WBZ-TV/CBS Boston with P&L responsibilities for all operations including news, digital, production, programming, engineering, finance, sales, and marketing. Under his leadership Mark developed and grew content partnerships with premiere institutions such as the New England Patriots, The Boston Marathon, The New England Revolution, and The Pan Mass Challenge. And Mark was pivotal in launching Boston’s first live local streaming news service, CBSN Boston. He also spearheaded the effort in designing a new state of the art building and studio for WBZ/CBS Boston which is slated to open in 2025. In leading a broadcast property with operations running 24/7, one of his primary responsibilities was building the brand and protecting the station's FCC license. These principles were rooted in serving the community as a trusted source of news, information, and reporting. WBZ news was recognized with a Columbia Dupont Award and George Foster Peabody Award for outstanding local news coverage during his tenure.Prior to joining CBS Boston in 2012, Mark was the EVP of Sales for the NBC Local Media group and was responsible for over $1b in annual revenues, including the NFL and the Olympics in Beijing, Vancouver, and London. Mark is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion. He currently serves on the board of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund and The Ron Burton Training Village. Prior board experience includes The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, The Positive Coaching Alliance, Autism Speaks, The Partnership for Children in NYC, The Bronxville School Foundation Board, and he was the Board Chair of the Massachusetts Broadcast Association.
